1. Size Precision
Refers to the degree of conformity between the actual working dimensions of the processed parts and the dimensional tolerances of the parts.
Size precision is controlled by dimensional tolerances. Dimensional tolerances are the allowable variations in part dimensions during the machining process. With the same basic dimensions, the smaller the dimensional tolerance, the higher the size precision.
2. Shape Precision
Refers to the degree of overlap between the actual geometric shape of the processed part's surface and the ideal geometric shape.
